Dance SYF (Non Modular)

SYNOPSIS:

This is a platform for students who possess the competencies in dance to work together in a choreography.
They will be trained for the SYF Arts Presentation and performances.
Practice sessions include warm ups, stretching techniques and choreography.
Students will be required to attend extra practices prior to performances.

Pre-requisite:

• Must be able to commit from P3 to P6

• Willing to keep hair long (at least shoulder length)

• Students are required to perform without glasses on stage

SYNOPSIS:

This Contemporary Dance CCA is dedicated to nurturing confidence, grace, and creativity in students through the exploration of various dance genres, including hip-hop and jazz. Our structured sessions focus on essential warm-ups, stretching techniques, and diverse dance routines that promote physical coordination, flexibility, and rhythm. Dance Exposure not only enhances students' dancing skills but also fosters teamwork, discipline, and an appreciation for the art of dance. Through these experiences, students develop the confidence to express themselves and build essential competencies for the 21st century.
