P6 Change & Transition Workshop 2017

On 13 October 2017, in collaboration with the Health Promotion Board, the school organised a workshop in hopes to equip our students with the tools they would need to move on to the next phase of their lives – secondary school. The Change and Transition Workshop 2017 aims to prepare our students transition over to secondary school smoothly and have a much more enjoyable experience if they know what to expect. A six-hour session, the workshop fully engaged our students through the vivacious presenter, Ms Andrea. With her honest yet humorous way of relating her personal experiences to our students, the girls were attentive from the get go.

During the workshop, students learnt how to cope with changes, make new friends, manage rejection and deal with the various types of bullying. The girls were fully engaged throughout the workshop and they thoroughly enjoyed every activity and the lively antics of the presenter. The activities and workstations were designed to help our students cope better emotionally, socially and academically when the time comes. We wish all of our Primary Six cohort all the best!
