IJ Katong @ SiTF Awards 2015

In Term 3, two of our students, Esther Anna Abraham (AM5) and Faith Khoo (MO5) represented our school in presenting our project "Towards a Cyber Smart IJ" for SiTF* Awards 2015. The girls presented our project to a panel of judges comprising of infocomm business leaders, veterans and educators.

Singapore infocomm Technology Federation (SiTF) organizes SiTF Awards to recognize and celebrate the local innovations of Infocomm Media solutions and products annually. SiTF had created the Primary School Student Category, to promote innovation and interest in the area of Infocomm, Communication and Media (ICM) at a young age.

The Cyber Wellness Committee is pleased to share that our school bagged the Bronze Award for the Best Innovative ICM Student Project in the Primary School Category! The girls definitely deserve the recognition as they spent time preparing and rehearsing for the presentation, and they showed great confidence when presenting to a panel of 5 judges. Both students represented the school in the award presentation held at Raffles Convention Centre.

We are definitely proud that our efforts to promote Cyber Safety and Cyber Wellness are gaining recognition. Many thanks to all stakeholders for the continued support shown for the school’s Cyber Wellness programme!
